These leather labels are made of genuine leather. Leather is a natural product, the visible grain, pores, insect bites and color differences in a skin characterize the authenticity of the leather labels. These are not material errors, but nature has  left her signature here.
NOTE: leather can discolor in the sun. The leather of these labels has not yet seen  daylight and is therefore still light in color. 
Under the influence of light & use (grease on hands) the leather will darken. Also, every skin reacts differently to printing with letterpress letters, sometimes the blind embossing is a bit darker.
